2 Dozen Days....

Hey all!! Only 24 more days until we Czechsters fly out!! Tonight a bunch of us are getting together for Happy Hour at Applebees for margaritas and to visit. I love it when we all get together. So many questions are asked and answered and various topics are discussed.

I've been working hard on getting everything organized for when I leave, my pack list made, getting shots organized among other things. I've made a HUGE binder organized with contact information, my packing list, different European city information, flight information, budget/financial information, and a calendar of events. I think I'm set but then the next day I think of something else that would be handy to have in there. I don't think there is too much room left in the binder....I LOVE IT! I showed it to my family and my sisters think I'm crazy and that I don't have anything to do all day. In all actuality I am working 50-ish hours a week between the visitors bureau and Applebees. I just make time.

A piece of comforting and weight lifting information came last week when my roommates agreed to live with me again for another whole year!! yay!!! ha. It might not be in best spot in town (by that I mean it's far away from campus and work) but it's cheap, nice, and just way easier than having to move my stuff before I leave.

Then on top of that final plans are being made for our group going away party! I hope it will work out for at least most of the group members and their friends/family so we can all get together, eat good food, have fun, and visit about EUROPE!! I think it will be good for everyone to get to meet everyone else's family and friends. It will kind of make us all more united and close.

As the days are dwindling down the anticipating and stress is mounting, but I know it will all be worth it. It's going to be such an amazing once in a lifetime experience!

33 days....almost to the "month" count

Omgsh! Omgsh! Omgsh! Only 33 days, basically a MONTH! I can't believe it. It's coming so fast, I'm definitely feeling the pressure. From comments, texts, calls, etc. I'm getting from my fellow "Czechsters" they are all feeling the "crunch time" feeling too.

As I wait in anticipation I constantly find myself Googling pictures of places we are going to be visiting. (I probably don't even need to go because I've seen it all already. Ha) I HAVE to share some of the pictures (compliments of Google) I found that almost made me pee my pants!

These two pictures are of places in Amsterdam! I'm so excited to see them. For what I've heard Amsterdam is one of the "must sees" of Europe. I'm sure we will have fun and hopefully leave an impression on it!

Now these two are of Berlin. Again my sources say Berlin is another "you have to see this place" kind of a place. Those beautiful pillars remind me of the movie Hercules and the dancing/singing little women. (I'm not sure what they were)

I love love love the lighting they have on this building! Exactly how my house should look! ha jk! I'm very excited to see all the castles while I'm there.

Barcelona!!!!! Can anyone say "Cheetah Girls 2 Movie"?!?!! Ha That's immediately what I think of when I think Barcelona. Some of my fellow Czechsters tell me it's gorgeous. We will probably end up traveling there either over spring break or during our free time before heading back to the states.

I absolutely can NOT wait to go on a gondola ride when we explore Venice! So romantic....I wish one other person were going to be there to experience it with me...hint hint *cough* Colton!

Ahhh....Rome! The Lizzie McGuire Movie (which I will admit to watching a million times). Maybe I'll find my celebrity twin! If not I'll have fun exploring the HUGE city. I mean look how big that is! Crazy!

Lastly, we have .....yep you guessed it, London! My friend Kelsey Wallin went to London for cheerleading in high school and I was always so jealous of her. Now I think I'll be up a few on her! hehehe

Looking at all these pictures makes me so excited. I honestly don't think it's set in yet though that I will be in a whole OTHER COUNTRY, across a HUGE OCEAN! That I'm ACTUALLY going to be in these cities! It's just so......crazy, overwhelming, scary, exciting, and out of this world all at the same time. I will continue to count down the days and cramp as much time in with the ones I will be leaving as I can.
